Our herbs are sourced from all over the world to avoid seasonal fluctuations in availability, keeping herbs accessible. Where possible, we choose herbs that are organic, wildcrafted, sustainably grown, or grown using permaculture. We support local farmers and grow many of our own herbs. Our tinctures are made using the classic tincturing method. The tinctures are made in a 1:5 ratio which allows for the optimal extraction of the herb. The alcohol percentage is strictly controlled depending on the herb and part of the plant that is used. The tinctures are thoroughly tested by a third-party lab and with an organoleptic evaluation by our team of herbalists prior to final bottling.

We let our herbs macerate for 3 weeks to ensure we extract all of their natural goodness. During this time, the herbs are carefully soaked in alcohol or glycerin, allowing the active compounds to infuse and create a potent tincture. This slow and steady process ensures that each bottle is packed with the full benefits of the plants, giving you the best quality possible.

We recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before introducing any new herbs into your family’s wellness routine. While our products are primarily designed for adults, we do offer some tinctures specifically formulated for kids. Be sure to check the product details for age-appropriate options.

No, our tinctures do not contain any fillers or additives. We believe in keeping things pure and simple—just the herbs and the solvent. Our tinctures are crafted with only the highest quality ingredients to ensure you get the full benefits of the herbs without any unnecessary additives.

Some of our tinctures are alcohol-based, as alcohol is an effective solvent for extracting plant compounds. However, we also offer alcohol-free tinctures made with glycerin for those who prefer to avoid alcohol. Please check the product description to know which type is used for each tincture.

When stored properly, our herbal tinctures have a long shelf life, usually 3-5 years. To maintain their potency, store them in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight. Make sure the bottle is tightly closed when not in use.

Our tinctures are made with a 1:5 ratio of herb to solvent at 35%, meaning for every 1 part herb, we use 5 parts solvent (like alcohol or glycerin). This balance ensures we extract the most active compounds, like essential oils and alkaloids, to maximize effectiveness. The 35% alcohol helps boost the extraction process, keeping all the plant’s benefits intact. This careful formulation results in a strong, concentrated tincture that provides targeted support for your wellness needs.

The majority of our herbs are certified organic, sustainably wildcrafted, or come from small-scale local organic farms that do not yet have organic certification. We always do our best to provide organic herbs in your formulas and keep costs low.
